NET uestion

Anybody know how to completely remove and reinstall .net? I have 1.0 and 4.0 installed. I need 2.0 and 3.5 SP1 which were corrupted and I removed them. The installs for 2.0 and 3.5 fail since they see newer versions. I tried removing all versions and they do not show up in the add/remove list, but the installs stilldo not work. I am hoping I don't have to reinstall XP because last time I tried that, I could not get it to recognize the hard drive during the install, which is weird since it obviously recognizes it now. Buts thats another problem entirely.

thanks Fred Emmerich

You should see it in the install/remove windows, if the option is there turn on "Show windows updates" it may be in there. if not you can search for the uninstall program Via the search menu

Nope wont come close.

It's a horror of a program to properly manage and I often need to reload the OS because of it.

The best you can do is download - msicuu2.exe

It is a microsoft uninstaller.

But there is a realistic chance you will need to reload your OS.

Those .net programs are real problems.
