Moammar Gadhafi was the last man still in power from the group of anti-American leaders that unsuccessfully plotted an attack on America in 1988. The plot was narrowly foiled by Police squad's Lt. Frank Drebin. Dramatic video footage of Drebin's heroic actions are below.

Drebin sadly did not live to see this momentous occasion. His former partner,officer Nordberg, was detained and unavailable for comment.
