HVAC gauges? Recommendations.

Guys, (Omegaman )

I have an opportunity to purchase a set of gauges at the dealer cost. I need to find a name brand set that will handle 410, 22, 12 and 134.

Anyone have a good name/model number? Yellow Jacket?

Thanks for the help!

In cars all the gases have different fittings, not sure if a gauge set comes with adapters. Every shop I have seen has one for R12 the other for 134, and the home a/c guys have something real different.

410 works at much higher pressures than all the other refrigerants- I doubt you'll find a single set that will do all. I have a set of MAC tool guages, #AC888, they are for R12 and 134. I have also used them for R22. My residential AC unit has a warning clearly not to use standard guages on it, as the pressures will exceed their capacity. It runs at 100 psi on the low side, and over 300 on the high.

Yellow Jacket makes a set for R-22, 404A and 410A and a set for R-134A, 12 and 22 but not all four of them together.

I have worked with 12, 22, and 134 but never 404A or 410A so I don't know how much I will need the capability of the newer refrigerants though, one of my newer units has 410.
