Smile The economy is so bad

Found this one on facebook.

The economy is so bad that I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.
CEO's are now playing miniature golf.
Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen.
Angelina Jolie adopted a child from America.
Motel Six won't leave the light on anymore.
A picture is now only worth 200 words.
They renamed Wall Street "Wal-Mart Street".
Finally, I called the Suicide Hotline and I got a call center in Pakistan and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

Are the men in their clean white coats at your front door yet ?!!

They tell me there an organization called suicide anonymous. It only allows members that have proven their success at suicide, they are not interested in wannabes. They are having trouble getting members !!

whunter,
As I stroll the aisles at Fall Hershey every year, ( coming up in 6 weeks!!), looking at the glitter from chrome, and on some days, frost on chrome, I remember the story of the indigenous Americans selling Manhattan for some trinkets, and I think, I am not so different.
Sounds like you are in the same group.

The economy is so bad, I ordered a burger at McDonalds and the kid behind the counter asked, "Can you afford fries with that?"

The economy is so bad that the highest-paying job in town is jury duty.
