Baseball bat all day long, you don't a long swing or poke to deliver a debilitating blow, you can hold it on any end or both ends, swing it forwards backward sideways, upper cut down jab forward thrust and my personal favorite the upward jaw breaker.

Don't hold it traditionally hold it at shoulder to shoulder distance so you can deliver blows from both ends so you can quickly deliver blow after blow.

All of my adolecent violent aggression grew up and went away a long time ago fortunately.

So my answer to the original silly question would be ..neither/none.

Only a moron, or an insecure individual would engage in a physical fight, and only the very insecure ones would bring a weapon.

Really, it may well depend on which one you have the most practice using. I would think that a typical lumberjack would be very dangerous with his chainsaw. Someone who uses somethng like a ball bat all day would be better with that. For a non-projectile weapon, a Katana in trained hands is hard to beat for up close personal conflict. I wasn't bad with the short sticks, but one of my instructors was scary good. He , uhh, worked for, uhh, the govenment. Sometimes the fight comes to you whether you want it or not.

This thread is somewhat akin to the "Ultimate Warrior" TV show on Spike!

Would love to see a dramatization...Al Capone in a pinstriped suit swinging away at the guy from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"!

We say, if your aren't willing to fight for your freedoms....you lose the right to complain when they are taken away.

Meaning while you may not seek out the fight....you must be prepared for it if someone brings it to you.

It's all about the entertainment value, eh Gee? I haven't been put in a position to require physical fighting since my teens. I have foolishly engaged in verbal fights with women since. In one of those fights, there is no weapon sufficient for a man to win . . .

Jim, what on earth made you start this thread? Problems with the neighbors again?
