That is not the question. The question is wether industrial civilizatoin is altering the rate of atmospheric change such that it will depart precipitously from natural cycles and wether or not altering human behaviour can influence this.

That is a hopelessly simplistic view.

I also didn't see "pirates" as a selectable dataset, so I was unable to analyze causality between the quantity of pirates and temperature.

If the data are not cyclical then these particular tools would so indicate.
