I do in fact use a long handled boat net to catch chickens. Works great.

You need to identify the net first. "fish catcher net" is not a detailed nor accurate description.

The small round ones with the handle. :D

Aquaticedge 09-15-2011 06:43 PM

Are you trying to catch your farts? It will never work!

Thank God.

You mean the little ones? Like they use in pet stores to scoop goldfish out of the tank?

PaulC 09-15-2011 09:21 PM

This thread is worthless without pics.

Close, the thing that I have to catch almost daily is very fast like a rabbit and about the same size.
This thread is getting a little long in the tooth. So here is a hint, the thing I have to catch daily likes to hump things. :D

You like to hump things so you are trying to catch yourself? That or the Nugness is trying to hump you and you want to catch him because you are getting tired of catching and rather pitch?

It's not me or The Nugness.

Ok, this thread has outlived it's usefullness. I bought the fish net to catch our little Pugly. He is very fast and escapes outside sometimes, we live on a busy road and think do want him to get hurt or killed.

Ah, I see. Now with your little pugly, what do you do after you catch him? I assume boots are not necessary with such a small animal? :D

The wife and I take him back in the house where it's safe. :D

Cute pup, CLK! I heard about this really cool invention, that might help you (and the pup) out. It's called a "leash"? Ever hear of one? ;)

We walk him everyday, he just sneaks out sometimes when we let The Nugness in to eat. :D

Have you actually caught him with it yet? I have tried to use a large landing net to catch my rabbit when he got off the deck before and was afraid of slamming it down on his back and breaking his back.

What I ended up with was throwing a heavy blanket over him then jumping on the ground and wrapping him up in the blanket.

I did it so many times it got so if he was on my deck and I wanted him to go in his cage I just took something cloth out and sort of waved it around a little he would go straight to his cage and jump in.

We caught him a few times, but now he is wise to us. The fish net is useless against him. :D
