We won't be needing your services any longer...

so take your 9 million dollars and clean out your desk and GTF out.

The richest 400 people in this country have more money than the bottom 150 million. By what logic is this sustainable?

Its neither logical nor sustainable. That is why society is slowly crumbling.

Probably a good part of why civilizations thousands of years before us have come and gone too It's hard to sustain such inequality.

"Yet only 29% of shareholders voted against Yahoo's executive compensation plan earlier this year."

Um... well... ah... I guess democracy doesn't work?

Yet more people enjoy greater -personal freedoms and liberties, food/housing/clothing, access more advanced healthcare, education opportunity, access to information, and input into and participation in political processes than has ever before existed in human history.

Faith isn't the issue. Initiative ... is.

I don't have one. I just know that the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer and the middle class is getting hammered. Offhand I can't think of a culture in which the draining of capital upwards into the hands of a tiny group of people continued for long before things got pretty ugly.

Yes, things are ugly and will get uglier, but the economics you cite are not the crux of the matter. The total and complete decadence of the morals of our society is the problem. What you cite is only a part of and an indicator of that problem.

AGAIN, what do you propose as a solution?

Thankfully all that money is in responsible hands;.... can you imagine what would happen if the Poor and Middle class got a hold of this money?
They would freekin' spend it!

Spending it might create a job or two......we don't want that crazy scenario happening....... A job!!??.... Oh the Humanity!

We need a law to limit the income of rich people. Who is rich? Anybody who has more money than I have, the greedy bastards!

I think we should start by limiting the income of movie stars, athletes, and rock and roll musicians.

These 400 guys will also spend it, or more accurately INVEST it and create ZILLIONS of jobs, once they have confidence that they will not be regulated or taxed into the ground.

You can't blame someone for holding onto their funds when there's no place where they can invest them without undue risk.
