Ya right. Didn't that one fat guy say he would leave the country if Obama got elected? Rush was his name.

These guys always make statements like this for ratings. Like everything else they spew out, its hot air.

Hell, there's the only good reason I've yet seen to raise taxes.

Let's not forget Alec Baldwin and Rosie O'Donnell and all them folks who said they'd get out of the states if Bush was elected to a second term.

Last I checked, they're still here.

Unlike someone you aren't in favor being your president, raised taxes is a legitimate reason to leave the country; members at the country club I worked for were leaving already, to places like New Zealand and Australia just to prevent their estates from being touched before their kids can even get to it.

If I were affluent enough to leave, I would too. My father's estate is a double-edged sword, where if I liquidate it to cash, there's a 50% tax on estates now in CT. Not sure if that applies elsewhere. If I leave it all in the stock market, I risk major losses. There's just no winning in this economy that Obama 'inherited'

No, but there is a rumor its a meme repeated often at many liberal circle jerks.

Speaking of Alec Baldwin, why did Fox refuse to allow him to use a Hacking scandle joke which resulting in Mr. Baldwin refusing to be part of the recent Emmy awards?

If Alec Baldwin possessed even half of a testicle he would of been part of the Emmy awards a told his hacking scandal joke anways! But he's a liberal and testicles are only allowed on the women like Rosie!

You heard the joke:

If Bush's Brain = Karl Rove; because he doesn't have one of his own,
then Obama's Testicles = Valerie Jarrett; because he doesn't have any of his own!

Can you provide the quotes on those two actually saying they'd leave? I remember hearing that too, but never saw video or actually read them quoted. Snopes quotes other celebs as saying similar things, but the Baldwin statement is hardly a direct threat to leave and O'Donnell isn't mentioned at all.
Bill O is just looking for ratings. Who GAS?

Here's something of an account regarding Baldwin.

"Then, on Sept. 18, the New York Daily News ran an interview from German magazine Focus in which Kim Basinger announced that her husband, Alec Baldwin, "might leave the country if Bush is elected president," adding, "and then I'd probably have to go too." (She has since filed for divorce.)

But scare tactics can backfire. On Sept. 19, the Daily News ran the following Baldwin retraction: "I never said I'd leave the country, and my wife never heard of Focus magazine and never talked to them."

Then, on Sept. 20, the Daily News ran the following retraction of the retraction. "Kim did indeed speak to a Focus magazine," he told the paper. "But my wife and I never said unequivocally that we would leave the country if Bush won. Never."

I did not hear that but he did say he would leave if the HC bill passed and got implemented.
