This was in the Orlando Convention center in the US at a debate to see who wants to be the next POTUS. Hardly what I would have considered an antagonist environment for a US soldier in combat. I guess I will have to rethink that idea.

Hey! BTW totally sidetracking but do you have the original box for the magnifying glass? Are there any special markings on it because I need to buy one for my set and this guy claims he has one that's original but I just need to know for sure.

We all have to rethink some of our views and preconceptions, and it should be a daily exercise.

Now now, he may have turned over a new leaf since he came back. Lets give him a chance. If he goes all goofy on us, then thump away.

So now it's clearer what you’re so worked–up about, someone "booed" during the debate! You’re against people’s “booing”, that’s interesting because I didn't see the other threads you started about "booing" done by audiences in other debates that occurred recently.

Or is it that you have a particular objection to people "booing" on certain dates, at certain questions, at questions asked by certain people, or certain questions asked by certain people?

Maybe you think it's unpatriotic to "boo" questions asked by service members, gay people, gay service members or that there should exist a protected class of people who should be immune from being "booed" at and that class may include service members, gay people, gay service members?

Or is this "offense" you've proclaimed, really manufacture outrage that's making the rounds of the liberal info circles because that's what all the other cool liberals are squawking about at the moment?

I mean is it really a serious national concern that the repeal of DADT is possible? The Congress has spoken and at some level the federal court has ruled it unconstitutional? Do you fear that that some future Republican president will “circumvent the progress made by gay, lesbian and transgendered members serving in the armed forces” by Executive Order like Obama has in defiance of the law?

Don’t you suppose that it was really nothing more than a transparent political ploy to paint anyone who fails to jump up, clap and cheer gays serving openly in the armed forces as un-worthy of the Presidency? Perhaps you agree with that position and that explains why you find the incident “abhorrent” and “the most vile behavior I have seen from a politician in a long time.”

Maybe people will take you serious when your outrage is consistently applied and displayed

I really am shocked that a gop audience would boo a soldier. Maybe they were jealous that the soldier was more ripped than they were? But seriously, when did the teaparty turn into a bunch of filthy hippies?

It's a serious national concern when a political party decideds that it's best to go BACKWARDS. It's a NATIONAL DISGRACE and it's showing the true colors of the republican party. Sad. OH and Chris I'll be rude to bigots every day of the week and twice on Sunday. If you're a bigot and we all know it I will definitely say something.

Maybe they where "booing" the substance of the question!

It might be really "much ado about nothing" even when you watch the video the "booing" lasts for a couple seconds and it sounds like only a couple loud voices. It's not like it was the whole place erupting or anything close, people who are "sensitive" to the politics of gender identity see offence in what happened and according to the OP what did not happen.

I see you figured out what "heckes" meant. Good job.

Had you bothered to read the post you would have realized I was not concerned with the audience actions but rather the actions or lack there of,of the candidates.

Booing the substance of the question? WTH does that mean? The soldier asked if a SANTORUM presidency would take us backwards, that was the substance of the question. No reason to boo until the candidate opened his mouth and declared that yes, we would indeed move backwards. FRANKLY not surprised at the silence of the other candidates they know their knuckle-dragging base.
