RNC audience heckes a gay soldier

And the candidates just stand there. Not a single one of those self righteous hypocritical patriots came to the defense of a soldier who is willing to place his life on the line to protect a country that does not grant him equal rights. That is the most vile behavior I have seen from a politician in a long time.

Question and Santorum reply at 1:08:05

What is "heckes" and is it something bad to do?

davidmash 09-24-2011 12:30 AM

I guess you don't have the courage to actually address the issue. Not surprising.

Just trying to understand what the issue is, what is "heckes" and is it something bad to do?

Given your command of the American language I did not figure you to be that obtuse. I am sorry I over estimated you. If you are unable to figure it out I fail to see how you could provide an intelligent answer if I told you.

Sorry I speak English, not American but I checked the OED but there was nothing, I'll see if I can find a dictionary of the American languge!

What is "heckes" and is something bad to do?

What is "languge" and is something bad to spell?

Sometimes it's hard to spell!

Sit tight - later we're going to rob drinking straws out of the cafeteria and fire spitballs at each other in study hall...

Having had the thrill of being one of the former Senator's former constituents, I have to share with you a dirty little secret of his known by just a few million Pennsylvanians: He's just not that smart. Once he strays the tiniest bit off message, the wheels begin to come off. He also has a naturally sour personality that all of the fake smiling that he has presented in public over the last few months will not successfully hide. Ever heard the phrase "twenty-footer" as applied to a used car? Think of him as the political equivalent of same. Soon he'll fade into well-deserved obscurity...

:D:D Hate to say it but I share this opinion. Ever since he released "It takes a family", its been pretty much downhill (yes, I have read it). He's a laughing stock in the largest city in the state AND along the wealthy "conservative" suburbs

Actually I was less concerned about Santorum (everyone knows he is a bigot) than I was about the lack of comment from Perry, Romney and Paul. Perry and Romney pretend to be pro military and patriots (I swear I hate that word now) and here is a soldier who is in Iraq and they sit quite while he is being booed. Paul, the voice of the people and the COTUS just stands there with his finger up his ass.

I hope this scene and the hypothetical of the 30 yr old man get lots of play time between now and 2012. I understand difference of opinions. But to sit by while a soldier is booed is abhorrent.

Pretty sure you speak American. I doubt you refer to a condom as a rubber or a trunk as a boot or a bum as butt or a Barrister as a lawyer .....

By the way, why are you embarrassed about our language. Americans have made it uniquely our own. I think that is something to be proud of.

Hmmm "languge"? Mocking someone for a typo in a forum $1. Doing the same thing in the same thread ... PRICELESS.

You would think that if you are going to mock a typo from someone you would avoid doing the same thing in the same thread. Stones in glass houses ring a bell?

G/L in some areas succeed and in others are discriminated against. I'm sure you understand that non gays are not so welcome in say the fashion world of business for example, or in many sections of the world of arts. Gays in a close to all male dominated place will find some less than friendly reception- as will straights in other fields.
