Its kind of old at this point, but 5 years isn't to bad for an S class. Plus its my favorite color, and it has a V12.

What's better than a V12 S class! I want to be able to pull up a 6% grade at 110 with the AC keeping me just above freezing, and no apparent effort.

S65 AMG would be better but they cost a bit more.

So tempting, Hatty has a Mercedes itch that needs scratching soon, the Chevy is getting old.

Nah that's what the trunk is for. S class is mafia style I can put a lot of guns in the trunk.

Plus with some tints I can drink beer and no one will bother me.

I had the pleasure of just parking one of these at the club, and it was the most glorious and defining 100 feet of driving in my life. I would honestly kill to live in one of these, let alone drive one of em! Active heated and ventilated power massage seats? Please and thanks.

Pff an E class is like an S just not as good.

The massive size is ok, when you are driving an S600 its inconceivable those in lesser cars will not make way for you. Plus you can park wherever you want, S class right of way.

I've gotta agree with Hattie on this one; The S-klasse just feels more commanding in presence than an E. I just can't get into mom's E430 and feel at home like I do in my 560. The size and heft adds to the air of opulence

Although it has been a dream of mine to toss around a manual 190E 2.5 16V like no tomorrow...

I'm gonna be honest here... I wish she were driving a milk cow; I wouldn't need an F1 harness or the desire to pop valium before taking shotgun. Awful driver.

One that runs good and is paid for..

Quality control and build quality for Mercedes Benz automobiles was at its lowest ebb EVER from about 2000-2009.

So this 2007 one could turn out to be a NIGHTMARE in problems and running costs.

The ad makes it sound like the seller got it at an auction really cheap and is trying to flip it.

Why do you think a $144,000 car like this winds up at some auction with just 32k on the clock?

Quality with MB has become much better in around 08 and even in 07. JD Power ranked MB rised from 21rst out of 32 to 15 in one year and it only became better because only a couple months ago on CNBC I saw a rating of the top 10 car companies for consumer quality and satisfaction. Cars like MB, Ford, Porsche, Hyundai, Lincoln were the only cars I recall. Not to mention everyone I know with the newer generation Mercedes meaning 07-08 or up says the same thing. Quality has improved by a ton. The reason why a car such as a AMG or a 600 series Mercedes comes down in price so much is because there is not much demand for them. Also there are tons of other cars at a aution with just 32k on them as well and do have v12's in them... My girfriends 06 CL600 has been perfect and I use to have a 96 SL600 that was fine as well. It comes down to if you can afford it or not but I will agree on the 07 since its first year of the 221 body.
