Mini guns are awsome...

THE MINIGUN - YouTube

Nothing is cooler than getting the barrels to glow, well lighting a cigar off them is officially the most badass way to light one.

Lets see 4,000 rounds per minute, at say $.30 cents a round if he got a good deal, is $1,200 a minute.

Only if you don't own all the land around the water. You can see them bouncing harmlessly off into the woods.

Seriously a kick ass video on a cool piece of gear and that's the response?

Bouncing harmlessly off the water. Right. Accidents don't happen because they are planned events. Accidents are unexpected events.

How far will a .308 bullet travel on ricochet? Could an accidental ricochet cause harm some distance down-range? If he fired straight into a hillside would the likelihood of ricochet increase or decrease?

A good general rule is never shoot a high velocity projectile at a low angle target. I can think of exceptions, but none that are likely in the states at this time.
