When I drove my Jeep home, 1100 miles trip, it was on a permit so no plates.
I was stopped 25 times in 24 hours!! Every police that saw me stopped me.
The icing on the cake was being stopped by a mounted police, yes one on a horse!!
Ever been stopped by one of them?
I was driving through a town (Tamworth) when a country music festival was on, people every where. The mountie trotted up along side of me while I was stopped at the lights.

Didnt get one ticket !! It ended up a joke. When ever I saw one going the other way, I would see it do a U turn, I just pulled over & waited for them. I congratulated each one telling them what number they were & suggested they check with their friend a few miles back up the road.

You could always put a sign in your back window ~ "I have been pulled over xx times so far this year, any point adding to the tally?"
