Ooh! He switched his drink up mid-binge! That almost never has a happy ending! Drink plenty of H2O today, Justin.

Ouch, how is the hang over!

My friends and I went on a bit of a bender Friday and Saturday night, and between us we killed about 300 cans of beer! Not counting the hard stuff.

I also worked both days too.

I had a few too many on Saturday. I started off with Sam Adams, and ended up doing shots of Gentleman Jack. I didn't overdo it too much, but it was much more than I'm used to drinking.

It was a celebration party for me and my wife from some friends in celebration of being given FULL custody of ALL 3 of my kids, not the semi temporary I was awarded a few months ago. It seems that the ex wife just couldn't fight everything I had lined up against her in court, and she folded.

Mythbusters investigated this one. As usual they didn't attack the problem with quite the scientific rigor I would like, but they did demonstrate that you actually get less of a hangover off a mixture of beer and hard liquor than you do off just beer (now here's the big important part) provided the quantity of absolute alcohol consumed is the same. I think the issue many people have when they drink liquor after beer is that they don't realize how much they are drinking and tend to overconsume. With beer, it takes a while to drink one, and it makes you full, so it's a little tougher to have too much.

@linville: I'm happy for you

Thanks...8 years and over $40k in total fees later, she gives up. I was a bit disappointed that she gave up this time, as I had spent some serious time and money this time in attorney and private investigation. I was really looking forward to presenting the case to the judge.

I had 5 years worth of children's services reports, 24 months worth of PI reports and videos, doctor's records, her employment records, the children's school records, over a dozen witnesses to mental abuse, not counting 4 teachers and 2 police detectives subpenaed as well as all three of the kids telling the GAL that they wanted to live with me instead of their mom.

I finally had enough on her to prove to her family that I wasn't the POS they had been telling my kids that I was for over 8 years. I guess that will have to wait for another day, as the kids are more important to me than my reputation that they have done everything to twist.

Enough about me...sorry for hijacking this thread

Bummer that you didn't get to use all of your stockpile, but at least the outcome was what you hoped for (custody-wise and reputation-wise).

And hah! This was such an on-point thread to begin with. Your post was thread-worthy on it's own merits!

Arrow A lost night in Los Angeles

I was pub crawling in Los Angeles last night, with a friend of mine who is a super-moderator on the benzworld forum.

We went to mostly musicians bars, and I met a really cool female at one of them that was by herself, a film maker that lived in Turkey for 27 years.

Seen here as the locals live, the place is really top heavy with people working and seeking gigs in the film, music and entertainment arena.

the females are extremely good looking and dress pretty sexy. I guess that is a requirement here.

Amaretto coffee all night.

I understand the perils of extended litigation.

Cost me over $150,000 and I would have been better off if I never even sued the ex.

The lawyers ALWAYS get paid.

ALWAYS.
