Ron Paul has my vote... though he probably will not win the nomination of the Republican party.

But the GOP doesn't seem that.

Reminds me of the intro to Red Alert 2 (Command and Conquer)

Red alert 2 intro - YouTube

(The first Red Alert was still the best....)

This year is going to be the best shot for a third party, if Paul does not run on the Lib ticket, he needs to get out of politics for good, he will never be nominated by the Republicans.

He did that in 1988 IIRC. If he did it today, I'm pretty sure he still wouldn't win the general election, but the Libertarian share of the vote would probably be at a record high.

IMO, his campaign strategy should involve pointing out that he is different than all the other candidates, with the exception of Gary Johnson, and possibly Jon Huntsmann. If you like the endless wars, the Wall St. and bank bailouts, paying for the Fed's money printing, earning less than 1% on your savings, all the freebies given to illegals and welfare breeders, and like the idea of your kids working 100 hour weeks to pay off our ever-rising debt, then vote for Mitt, Rick, Herman Cain or Obama- they're basically all the same despite what they say on the campaign trail.

Err, I believe that is the strategy being deployed by the Paul campaign, unless you're aware of another one.

He actually doesn't plan to run again. Even for Congress.
