It's unfortunate that he is operating on such a limited budget. He has no political experience, only experience solving problems. We need the latter, but his lack of the former will keep him out of the Whitehouse. That means another four years of BO. Once BO is emboldened with another four years, Katy bar the door, you ain't seen nothin' yet. The country will go the rest of the way to hell in a hand basket.

Wasn't Herman the head of the restaurant lobbyist group in D.C. after leaving Godfather?

I believe he also co-chaired the Steve Forbes presidential campaign in 2000.

To say he has not political experience only covers the fact that he has never held publicly elected office, but he's aware of how campaigns work.

Republicans got nobody but Romney. They know it. The Media knows it, that's why they keep running these other fools up in the polls with all their coverage. Nobody'd be watching if it weren't for the nutjobs trying to beat Romney.

Romney IS the nut job. He's one of you liberals in conservative clothing. He's also a flip flopper.

Herman Cain is a problem solver and this country would be REALLY lucky to have him as President, but it unfortunately will not happen.

No matter who it is, it will still take 270 electoral college votes to win in 2012.

I'm guessing that Romney will be nominated, but I have a bad track record picking such things. If Romney is the nominee, he will have to deal with a sizable part of his own party who say that they would never vote for a Mormon. At least one poll puts that group at about 20% of Republicans. That sort of disadvantage might make up for the high unemployment figures that are sure to be dogging Obama.

There is a lot to admire in his background and acheivements, imo.

Fwiw, Newsweek ran a piece on him this week. Given it was Newsweek, I thought it was a pretty fair and flattering article about the man.
(Who did the WP unload that shopworn brand to? Politico?).
About the only criticism in it was usual lambasting from other blacks. You know, the Belafonte types ripping Uncle Toms, etc. ad nauseum.

Will he win much? Heck no. Nominee? Certainly not.

I very much like Larryy's thinking and rarely disagree with him. I know that right now he is short of funds, but I think there is time and money a plenty to alleviate that squeeze. HERMAN CAIN FOR PRESIDENT! THE MAN IS REALLY ABLE!

Romney is also dogged by fears that he is a RINO among the base.

Of course Romney's a RINO. Of course he's a flip flopper. Of course he'll be the nominee. We are witness to the slow, painful but comically entertaining death throes of the Republican Party. Voyeurism at it's best.

Hey, I recall the demo's got there butt kicked pretty good in the last election. I predict that they won't believe what has hit them with such force as in the next election. It'll be like a cyclist getting hit by a freight train. I can see it coming!!

Inexperience didn't keep B. Hussein Obama from getting the gig...

Not saying Cain will win but its a pretty lousy reason to say he isn't qualified.

At the end of thy day it will be Romney who will get the nomination and win the election.

Then they'll have to govern like adults, won't they?
