LOL have you ever been to Oakland? Thats what happens every night in Oakland, usually with a lot more gun violence. Yeah, I've been to Oakland. I've been most everywhere around the Bay Area. So what?

If the OWS were for real with a clearly stated goal, they wouldn't have to resort to violence. They are bent on skipping a step, the one where they go through proper channels to change the laws. Oh wait a minute, people who want something for nothing are not familiar with the rule of law now are they?

Does this hatred of the rich apply to those in the entertainment industry too? How about those in government? Aren't most career federal politicians millionaires as a result of their "public service"? Politicians used to serve for the benefit of their constituents; now it seems they serve to benefit their own bank accounts.

Is this rage at the wealthy only targeted at the investor class? Does it bother you when Obama hangs out with the Hollywood elites?

No, there are many here who fail to realize or admit that many of "the rich" risk capital and often even their house to invest and start companies. Most of the rest of us work for those companies. Without them we would have no jobs. Without them there would be no wealth created for the government to tax and make the public sector jobs.

Too many people here just think that they are owed everything because they draw their oxygen from the US air.

I don't "hate" the rich, I simply think we need a fairer society. The rich have re-engineered the tax code and packed the legislative branches with stooges. The stooges have been well-paid. It is time for it all to stop before it wrecks this country.

Many of the rich are useless drones who have inherited tons of money that they never worked for, like the Koch brothers, for instance. They pay 10% tax on their unearned income, while I have to pay 30% or more on income I earn by actually working. Don't give me that $hit.

Yes, there are indeed many who were born with the proverbial silver spoon in their mouth. There are also MANY people who risked it all to build companies that provided jobs for the rest of us. I've worked for a few of them and know their level of integrity and effort. Without people like them, we would be sunk.

Even, however, the people born with money, have money to invest whether you like them or not. If they don't see an environment in which to risk said money, we are without investment thus without jobs. Your great President is making the business environment much riskier for these investors. Regardless of how they got their money, if they don't invest it, you and I won't have jobs. If it's too risky I don't blame them one bit for not investing.

THAT, my friend, is how it works. Hate them or not, if they don't invest, we don't have jobs.

Taxes are only PART of the equation. The insane and ridiculous laws and agencies that are strangling business are preventing the investment. BO has a whole Army of Czar's that put regulation and restrictions in place that are making these people you seem to think of as blood suckers not ready to risk their money.

Whether you like them or not has nothing to do with it. It's THEIR money and they will invest it when THEY see fit. That time will not come until BO and his Czars are gone and the strangling regulation and restriction is repealed.

Unfortunately there is indeed duality. The government is certainly corrupt and lots of businesses are corrupt. Unfortunately the people holding the money are the only ones that can get the machine running again. They HAVE money to invest. The government only has a debt that is ever increasing with BO and his boys.
