Where are those at? Here in DC they have the local businesses and residents ready to lynch them all for the racket they make all and and all night long. Total lack of respect for the people that actually belong here, and live or work here from "The Bowel Movement", as I've been hearing it called by some various places.

dare I say it, the kitchen is turning Republican....... now thats some funny stuff. gotta love the irony. ah the sounds of realities arrival to the idealistic society they wanted to create...... I wonder what will be learned from this.

chilcutt 10-28-2011 10:08 AM

This should prove to be interesting~

What I find funny as well, is the food they served them as a protest...brown rice and bologna.
You know the homeless thought they had lucked into a dream come true. Urinating in the bushes, living under the stars...and an organic menu.
This may turn out to be a hoax, but yeah...the irony.

Yeah, it's like the irresistible force (reality) vs. the immovable object (idealism). Somethings gotta give.
I don't know about the "turning Republican". I'm sure they still have the liberal bent that got them to OWS in the first place, but it goes to show that everyone (and I mean everyone) has a breaking point. I wonder how many of the people they serve food to actually turns around and says "Thank You"? They are volunteers for crying out loud.

^ that is one of your more idiotic posts. Where in there is someone "breaking the law".

What exactly is the premise of this thread? That the Occupy Movement promised free food to everyone? You guys are ridiculous. The food is for those protesting, is it not?

waht we have here is the protesters becoming the elite and forgetting about the "people" which is what they are protesting to begin with. this is hipocrocy at its finest. I think its hilarious....

LOL! Straight laced indicates someone who would not beg or expect a meal that they did not earn or pay for. Maybe this concept is outside of your upbringing.

Well put!

Why not just give the protestors meal tickets?

Of course the bums are going to show up, they are bums that's what they do.

Here ya go..

"Officers made at least 10 arrests when rowdy demonstrators refused to get out of the street and stop blocking traffic. A dozen cops on scooters tried to force them back to the sidewalk."

"Overall security at the park had deteriorated to the point where many frightened female protesters had abandoned the increasingly out-of-control occupation, security- team members said.

"Rumors swirled that one homeless man had pulled a knife in a dispute the night before -- and that there had been yet another case of groping.

But protesters and a cop on duty told The Post that most of the crime goes unreported, because of a bizarre “stop snitching” rule."

TheDon 10-28-2011 06:44 PM

"For three days beginning tomorrow, the cooks will serve only brown rice and other spartan grub instead of the usual menu of organic chicken and vegetables, spaghetti bolognese, and roasted beet and sheep’s-milk-cheese salad.
