Berkley Climate Warming Data Challenged.

I think I know what's going on here........

Skeptic’s own study finds climate change real, but says scientists should be more critical - The Washington Post

He was a G/W skeptic who seems to have changed sides . Hmmmm?

I think he is a plant by the skeptics who want to stir up more controversy by showing again how data was 'cherry picked' for results....ie: East Anglian University.

A scientist who changes his position after independently analyzing the data is a scientist to be cherished not disparaged.

Supposing of course they are factual and not picking data to support a preconceived hypothesis.

I still say he's a 'plant' or double agent . Looks like a False Flag attack.

Speaking of polar bears, there's a fascinating deposition from a scientist involved in one of the polar bear imbroglios. It reveals how politics enters into government science.

It's a long, tedious read but well worth it. About 2/3 through the manuscript the shape of things begins to be revealed. https://motherjones.com/files/7_28_11_monnett-ig_interview_transcript.pdf

$50,000,000 grant and...."...can't tell difference between Bow Head and a Ringed Seal..." ???..."

Was this a script written by Monty Python?

Why is it dangerous to fly low over water in a float plane ?

No camera ? So how does National Geographic do it?

Meh... I used to think the climate change was man made. Then natural. Then I realized I dont care. I dont care because the facts are simple. The Earth is warming up and the historical data shows a trend that it will continue to do so. And there is not one thing man can do.

I am more worried about the Mayan calendar!

It seems as though you may not have read the entire deposition because what comes through toward the end is the opposite of what you write.

...Scientific misconduct = Miscalculations....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ERIC MAY:........All right, so as, as a scientist, uh, .Yes. Uh, in your, in your manuscript, you use a lot of, um, like, uh, “we speculate,” “we further suggest,” “potential,” “may pose.”

CHARLES MONNETT: Yes, meticulously so (laughing). --

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

".......[I]no dead polar bears between 1987 and 2003 ...."

ERIC MAY: Isn‟t that stretching it a bit, though, saying – making that conclusion that no dead polar bears were observed during these years, and then, all of a sudden, 2003, you guys are – you observe dead polar bears?

CHARLES MONNETT: I don‟t think so.

Me: No, Mr Monnett...we don't want to here what you 'think' we want to hear what you 'know'

So, this is what a $50,000,000.scientific study comes up with?
