I've dropped about nineteen in two months or so. I used a "modified Atkins", declare war on sugar and completely eliminate it from the diet, no cheating, no excuses. Cut carbs to the equivalent of one slice of bread a day, and watch fructose sugars by avoiding fruit juices, stick with low fat milk, coffee/tea or bottled water. Avoid sauces of all kinds. Eat all the pure protein you want, fish, eggs, and lean meat, but don't overally freak out on the fat because your body will flush the stuff if you are not eating carbs and sugar so go ahead and have a hamburger or steak once and a while, just make sure not to slather it in mayo or something. Go hog wild on salads and greens with "lite" salad dressings, and kill the cravings with sugar free ice cream (blue bell makes the best) and sugar-free chocolate candies and cookies. Finally, drink twice as much water as usual. Once I made all that a habit, the 2lbs a week became routine, at the rate I'm going I'll be under 175 in a week.

thats a good plan diet

not to mention being in the gym for 8 hours a day. Trust me those 'roid ragers still work hard.

My understanding is that steroids, or certain types, not actually add muscle themselves. They allow the person to train longer, or hard or recover faster.
From memory Arnold did admit to using some steroids. It wasn't at the level that are taken today. I'll admit that the BMI is more of a rule of thumb or such. As with anything, someone can be found to defy common norms. The smoking industry usually trots out some 90 year old wheazzer or such.

What I eat at night and how I eat greatly affect my sleep these days. I don't remember it having as much of affect in past years. I also admit I was way too tough and unbreakable in my younger years. The worst nights for me and sleep involve eating out, Mexican and Pizza. On these nights I tend to eat too much and it is not quality food. I won't sleep all night. It's easy to overdo it with fried seafood also. These meals are almost the only times I drink alcohol anymore. I don't eat much wheat anymore but I eat the wheat products in these meals also.

In my younger years I noticed that alcohol affected my sleep. I would sleep all night but didn't feel refreshed. I can almost say I don't drink anymore but I still drink a little, very little.

Our tradition of eating a big meal at night is not the most healthy way to eat. Eat light at night and eat early, sleep better. Overeating, low level carbs, and alcohol are especially poor choices at later hours.
