I am 19 and I just got a new car.

My next car will be a car that I purchase on my own, and the way I see it, I will have the financial means to purchase a new one in about 8-10 years. That will probably put me in a decision between the C class and 3 series, after they have been redesigned again. If BMW keeps up with their styling changes, it will be the MB without contest. If I could choose a new car right now, it would be between a 330i sedan, manual or the C class. On the C class side, it comes down to whether I would want the manual tranny C240 or the C320, but which would be an auto.

Well, at least I am set with a fantastick car for the next 10 years or so

C240 with the six speed. Hopefully my 109e will last long enough for the used prices to drop into my range, or my range will rise to the prices

Can't really decide. Somewhere between a (W113) 280SL....and a CLK55!

Mine will be either a W124 400E / E420 (heyyy maaaan, it's the 420 ) or an E34 BMW 525i or 535i manual.

Hey, I love the sleek, tense styling of the E34 5-series. To me, it's the second best-looking sedan ever made, W126 S-class being the best.

I'm tired of taking the hit on the huge depreciation plunge you expose yourself to when purchasing a new vehicle...then the same dealership that wooed you into the purchase treats you like an orphan when you try to get a decent trade-in price down the road.

I'm done getting new cars.

Now I want to obtain cars I've always dreamed of owning, but was too young or too poor to obtain...

...that said, an 80's model 450SL, or a vintage Detroit muscle car, preferably, a '69 Camaro Z28...(Yenko would be nice, but then I could get a nice CLK for that price).

Maybe I will get a new-style VW Beetle to park next to my old one?

To quote a friend "Since 1985 I've wanted a Cadillac, now I have a 1985 Cadillac!"

Almost new motorcycles are a good buy. Somebody buys a big fast expensive motorcycle and finds out its too fast for him and sells it. He eats the out-the-door depreciation and buyers get the benifit.

My heart is set on a V70. Maybe in a few years time I will be able to afford one. The 1994-95 W124 and W140 are also on my wish list. But we'll see!
