The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Should have wiped that slate clean years ago, considering the infighting since Mesopotamia was still part of the hubbub.
The tribes in the area will not be satisfied until the others are eradicated. Do I agree with Israel's existence? Not in the slightest. All of the revolutions in the area have proven they are incapable of having large countries with multiple ethnicities within ruled under one party. Do I agree with Israel preventing themselves from having a threat that will become a global threat? Absolutely. Better fact is the US stands behind Israel so we can finish them off.

Quote:
The crushing of Irans first democracy launched 25 years of dictatorship under Mohammad- Reza Shah Pahlavi, who relied heavily on U.S. support to hold onto power until he was overthrown in 1979. For Many Iranians, the coup demonstrated duplicity by the U.S, which presented itself as a defender of freedom but did not hesitate to use underhanded methods to overthrow a democratically elected government to suit its own economic and strategic interests. Soon afterwards in 1953 and with help from the C.I.A. and the Isrealli Intelligance Agency, Mossad, the Shah created a secret police force called Savak, which became famous for it's brutality. The tangible benefits the U.S. reaped from overthrowing Iran's elected government was a share of Iran's oil wealth. Washington continually supplied arms to the unpopular ruler Pahlavi, and the C.I.A. trained Savak, his repressive police. >The coup is widely believed to have significally contributed to the 1979 Iranian revolution, which deposed the Shah, and replaced the Pro-Western royal dictatorship with the anti-Western Islamic Republic of Iran.< Thats the history. So please , speak for yourself when you say 'WE' should help Isreal finish them off'. As an American, I-and many others want nothing to do with this mentality.
