Read the article again and try to wrap your mind around its main thrust. Wealthy kids who show up "to take advantage of the party atmosphere, drugs and free food."

They can stay at college and get those.

Are you referring to the OWS people here?

That all OWS protestors are somehow supposed to be poor folks and all and that others just don't have a right to say anything if they are not, right? Is that just a ridiculous idea?
At least those "poor folks" have a clue about their situation.

Instead, all the "face-time" on the camera is all about the "experts" that aren't...those clowns only have a hypothesis for what they're talking about...

A few examples of the type of "experts" at any of these protests could be...

Child-rearing "experts" that don't have kids...
Any "Butterbar" fresh from any branch of military school...
Any gangsta' wannabe thinking they know ghetto...

And then...you have this...

The <1% of the 99%ers...the nimrods & psycho-nutballs protesting in the name of the OWS/Whateva' movement that's only there to cause harm and confusion and not be there for, or have anything to do with, the 99%ers...

EXAMPLE: The twinkie that was featured on the news this evening, getting arrested by the NYPD, after he was "shot" (camera) attempting to put a mic-muff back on a mic that he'd just de-muffed and de-flagged, all while trying to cover his face with his sweater (sweater fell, face was revealed), and apparently, this was following his attempt to stab the reporter in the neck with a pen that he was holding in his right hand...the cretin then, FINALLY, figures out that all of it was being caught on camera...so he decides to head into his little tent.

The guy is being booked again (Yep, they mentioned that this twit has been in the "klink" a few times before) and then being transfered to the BELLVIEW nut-barn in town...

Really solid protesting-material there.

Who should I lend my cup of protester-sympathy to?

If the 99%ers can't even CONTROL the supposedly, occasional, nut-ball, flake and looney-tune that is out there and among them, why the hell should I care if their little protest has any legitimacy?

All this protesting is showing the American public is that it's disorganized, un-inspiring and without any real purpose.

And we're suppose to take this OWS/Whateva' movement seriously? Choose our future leaders from among this rash of unwashed?

The nut-jobs have taken it over...so it's over.

The message got lost in the banality of the situation.

Here's what's happening back on the farm...

FRANK: "Hey! Martha! Come here and look at the idiots in the park! They look like shoplifters running away from a St. Vincent DePaul Warehouse!"

MARTHA: "That's nice dear. Come to the table for dinner now."

FRANK: "I wonder what they're were doing at the park? Dang kids these days. Take away their video games and they don't know how to act out in public. Those cops should give 'em a good whack up-side their heads to pound a little sense into them...then maybe the cops should head up to Congress and met out more "common sense" to those idiots."

MARTHA: "That's nice dear. Now, sit down and say 'Grace' so we can finish eating. Then we'll be able to head back into the living-room, turn the TV on again and guess the phrases on "WHEEL" before the contestants can."

Yeah...OWS/Whateva' is getting the message across to the average American...complete with a WAY to do it.

Oh, wait...no one's figured any of that out...yet.

Well, I guess it's time for a recall.

That'll fix everything.

Police, Occupy protesters clash in Oakland - Yahoo! News

"Glass covered streets and sidewalks from windows of area businesses that were shattered.
Graffiti on the wall next to one of the damaged shops read, "This act of vandalism was not authorized by the general assembly. Peaceful protest."

Was the graffiti not authorized or the breaking of windows not authorized?
Is any vandalism authorized or only the vandalism that the general assembly desires?

This is lunacy.
