No Topic Thread

Don't recall if we've ever had one of these......

No tangible connections required in this thread - intended as a place to drop your pearls of ~ ahem ~ wisdom, random observations, meaningful meanderings, or just plain old silliness (somehow, I'm guessing CLKMan is gonna feel right at home here ).

To begin:

Sign your coffee isn't working yet # 2,176: you make it all the way out to the car before enough synapses connect the discomfort in your foot with the reality that yes, in fact, that has been a sharpie lid in your boot for the past 15 minutes.

No Topic. Means no single point of discussion.

Far below this morning sun

Not that I'm responding to your post, of course.

So, in other words, we're just skipping the first 10 posts of our usual threads?

"The frog skips in the morning dew"

Yeah, but does butter like YOU?

You in your life, me in mine

Kerry gold is good butter, but nothin like my homemade Jersey butter. No salt, never salt. Butter is one of the proofs that life is no accident.

Margarine and individually wrapped "cheese" slices are the devil's own.

It will be 106 here today. 108 yesterday. I could be turning into a winter person if this keeps up.

Mucus is a renewable resource. Why hasn't somebody found an industrial use for it?

I hate to carry on with a theme but in answer to El Chivito's "mucus" query, "what do you think tofu is".

In a side note, 14.8 million ants were rendered homeless by my removal of two stepping stones.
