It seems that since Y2K, almost everything "new" is self-setting...except my Casio Wave Ceptor Databank 150 geek-watch.

Dumb thing went into "ceptor mode" at midnight, 0200 (CDT) and 0400 (Still CDT) and at 1100 this morning (CST), it still read noon. IT was the only thing (other than the cars/truck) that needed back-cranking.

Just a nuisance, more than anything else...really.

We have Antique clocks, so we have to reset them every time.

I once showed up at a meeting at the NIC campus of PU two hours early because of confusion over the time zone difference. Yikes! I took a nap in the car.

Everyone else in the U.S. (outside of Arizona and parts of Indiana) gained an hour on Sunday...

I lost a whole year.

No, I had a birthday, so I lost a whole year of my LIFE!!!

It's Bush's fault, too, because he implemented the change in the DST dates.

Nope. Arizona doesn't save daylight. Except on the Navajo Reservation, where they do. For some reason or other.

Hawaii doesn't do DST, so I was well versed in ignoring it.

The most curious to me is Indiana, where part of the state does, and part doesn't.

Having been born and raised in Phoenix, I can unequivocally state that they do not need to save daylight. There is plenty of it enough already on those 117 degree days.
