looking at one of these with 66k on it anybody know anything about these? problems etc??

When I was a mod at benzworld I created a thread entitled, "relatively common issues". It's in the general group of help/diy stickies in the W210 forum, user name is"check codes." It's a pretty comprehensive list.
If you're not really familiar with the cars, I would recommend a PPI from a good indie. Good luck. |
If it has the same engine as my 02 clk 320, you might want to check and see if the harmonic balancer has been replaced. There was a recall on that issue. :D

Get a good PPI at a good indi shop. Benzworld and MBworld show a entire listing of W210 Common issues. By 2002 the majority of the issues were worked out by then. DIY repair is not hard and its one of the real DIY friendly Mb's because by then the line up starting become much more advanced.
