** "Dear ESPN Chyron Guy..." **
While trying to enjoy MNF's presentation of the Vikings-vs-Packers Football game...
ESPN had their little "crawl" running on the bottom (pardon the pun) of the screen...screaming BREAKING NEWS ... and through the whole game and including the half-time...the insipid verbage from ex-Penn State Defensive Coach/Molester Sandusky, (paraphrased) "...I just touched...leg...I didn't have sexual thoughts...BS..." First off: Does this waste of DNA even have something that resembles an attorney? Because, if he does, a well-thrown rock could do a better job in keeping his worthless trap shut. No one cares what he thought he was doing was OK in his mind. Why would he even think that he's going to win any respect he thinks he has, back? With that type of statement to anything that resembles a press, all he's doing is sealing his deserved doom. Second: What moron at ESPN thought that the above garbage was actually BREAKING NEWS and newsworthy enough to insist that everyone, for over 4+ hours, needed to be reading this tripe over and over and over again? I wanted to go out to the garage, find some black electrical tape and mask-over the crawl so I could quit feeling like I had to crawl out of my skin and apply some sort of eyeball-acid wash and brain-bleach to rid myself of the burn-in from "that story." Instead of enjoying the pure euphoria of Rogers and crew beating a conference foe...I'm being force-fed the ramblings from a pedophile for the slime of a crime he committed over 9 years ago? As if we all had a hand in letting it go on and on for the previous 8 years...leading up to when the puke FINALLY got caught? Apparently, the editors at ESPN must have a self-interest in Sandusky's well-being. How else can you explain that "crawl-from-hell" that kept going and going and going and.......

Wow, nice to have such high class problems.
Didn't even notice and my team was slaughtered.

But, outside the obvious, didn't anyone find it disturbing that out of the whole world of sports, at least last night, Sandusky's ramblings were, somehow, considered worth that type of newsworthiness? BTW: Do the Dogs of Football have something against the Vikings? I'm beginning to think that there may be something to the rumors of the "Favre Curse" since he got the boot out of Green Bay. Don't get me wrong...I loved the guy when he was in GB, but he couldn't have mucked up a story-book, end-of-GB-career, like he did, any worse than he did. And of course, Thompson and McCarthy had their own, small roles to play in that ending, too. But, didn't ANYONE SEE that when the door smacked shut on Brett's a$$, for him, it WAS all about the payback? Oh well...another couple of years and .... what? ESPN didn't do the Vikings any favors listing the mountains that have to be overcome just to keep the Vikes in Minnesota... But hey! Thanks for the "love" Swede!!! I do feel for you guys! Just the same way I felt for the Packers during the 70s and 80s...painfully!!!

Here's something to keep in mind: Espin does not report news --- they MAKE news. Their force fed coverage is always done with the aim of benefiting their own, self-serving, POV. Don't expect unbiased news from them.

I have to agree with the MegaBurger man here. WGAS what Sandusky thinks was OK? The legal process will get to the bottom of his sordid reality soon enough. We could use a reduction in multi-tasking in today's modern a-go-go world more than an increase. One does not need the stupid distraction of useless information steadily thrown at you when you're looking for a little recreation.
