A name for the Pelican !!!!!

Now that the changes are starting to calm down, I think its time we had a go at naming the pelican that is now part of the PP insignia at the top of the page.

I have already given Wayne the nick-name Storm Boy as he is the keeper of the pelican. Google it if you wish to find out the origin. In line with that I could suggest "Mr Percival" but it would be better to have a name with a connection to the USA.

Any way unless some one posts & tells us that it already got a name, lets have some suggestions !!

Not heard of down here, just a local thing for you.

Their pelican is different anyway, looks a lot older.

I'd name the pelican "layback80", but that's just me.

Just to help some.

layback40 is a type of skate board. Its 40" long.

An 80 would be strange but then I guess there are always some one that want one bigger than every one else.

In Australia we call it "small mans syndrome".

Its a pity that some posts appear to be an attempt to hijack threads.

Sorry layback - I didn't know.

I added 40 together with "Grumpy Old Diesel Owners Club group maintainer/member" and got 1940... Sorry!
