shooting a .600 nitro express magnum pistol

not for the meek or poor, at 17k a copy, 13+ pounds, and a single round @$40 each
notice the motorcycle helmet worn in anticipation of the recoil .600 Nitro Express Magnum |
I've shot both the Desert Eagle and the S&W .500. Recoil on the S&W is kept rather low by the weight and top venting. The DE, I have no desire to ever shoot it again. Too much for my likes.

Actually, it's a revolver not a pistol.

and a por sha in the garage and it's a pistol |
Just too big for a handgun.

Cool, guess it would be fun to hunt wild boar with it.:D
|
I'd rather go hunting with a compound bow & arrow then with a cannon like this.

After shooting half a box thru the .41 magnum my hands and wrists plain ache. Makes shooting the .45 acp one handed a vacation.
I like the way a bipod and stock are suggested.... whats up next, a 1.00 cal derringer? |
Of course it's a pistol. A revolver is a pistol so is an automatic or a muzzle loader. The term pistol means it's a handheld firearm and not a long gun.
