With a few tweaks, that car could hold it's own in today's new car market.

Holden builds good stuff. I was driving my wife's Pontiac G8 GT the other day and had to pass a line of cars on a two lane. I jumped from 70 to 110 in about 3 seconds. And that was with a GT. She is wanting to trade it in on a GXP but I understand they ride rather harshly.

The G8 was built in OZ by Holden and exported to the US.

Now if they could just get them to ride like a Mercedes......

Or not. People seem to like brutal styling these days. Either fake retro with gun-slit windows, or station wagons tarted up to look like they're ready for the Rubicon Trail.
