Turquoise Circle with Arrow?

What does the turquoise circle with a right facing arrow in the left column of the list of posts indicate?

Is there a legend for such icons somewhere that can be viewed?

Only time I see such an icon is on the browser tab when I click on a thread and the server is busy pulling it up for display.

And it's an emoticon or gif at that point anyway, as the arrow rotates around the circle in a clockwise fashion.

Yes. I am seeing it in the second column of the "Threads in Forum" list adjacent to two different threads.

When one starts a thread - or composes a reply - one has the opportunity to choose an icon to go with the message. The choices include a few different "smilies", thumbs up, thumbs down, question mark, etc.

I am unaware of any specific meaning associated with "Arrow". Since most threads are started without an icon, perhaps the arrow is intended simply to draw attention to that thread.

For me it appears to be a fairly plain green, not turquoise.

Thanks Eskimo! I clicked on New Thread and saw the choices at the bottom. I thought that it was an indication of thread status or something. It appears that it is nothing more than a static marker available for some reason. Yes maybe it is more green than Turquoise.

It's the "Forward to DHS" button. When an extreme left winger wants to get back at someone for an anti Obama thread, they can click on that button and instantly forward your IP address to the Department of Homeland Security, where they will dispatch a re-education team to your door within 30 minutes of notification.

It's a symbol which labels the thread as having been started by someone with a right-leaning agenda. There is no corresponding left wing symbol.

Have you ever witnessed government employees pass a buffet? There's about 8 of them on the way to your house...

I will never make it to the Homeland Security re education camp. That trip will be pre empted by those here on the forum who will first send me to theirs.
