What's on YOUR tree?

I just put the star on top of my tree last night. What do you have on yours?

That's an interesting concept. Might try something like that later when we get around to putting up a tree. We tried the other night but had to take it down because of the kitten.

Kitten climbing the tree? I've had that problem in the past. No cats in the house at present, though. When my youngest daughter was a baby, I had to put the tree up in her play pen to keep her from pulling it over . . .

My son had many pet snakes when he was little. One year we could not locate of of him little rat snakes until we were taking the tree decorations off. I found that little fellow wrapped around the trunk of the Christmas tree.

Don't have one. Have lights on the trees outside though!

Right now a plastic bag is covering my tree. I'll pull off the bag and plug in the tree in a week or so.
I gave up on cut trees long ago, and recently quit buying dug trees.

I thought of putting the MB star on top of the tree as well, I have a spare trunk badge and hood ornament...might be able to make this work. After my classes are done and I get some time with the welder I'll report back...

Mercedes dealers also sell ball style ornaments (4 in a box) each year with different cars on them. Also, consider using Hot Wheels models.

Christmas Tradition

Santa was very cross. It was Christmas Eve and NOTHING was going right. Mrs Claus had burned all the cookies. The elves were complaining about not getting paid for the overtime they had put in while making the toys. The reindeer had been drinking all afternoon and were dead drunk. To make matters worse, they had taken the sleigh out for a spin earlier in the day and had crashed it into a tree.

Santa was furious. "I can't believe it! I've got to deliver millions of presents all over the world in just a few hours- all of my reindeer are drunk, the elves are on strike and I don't even have a Christmas tree! I sent that stupid Little Angel out HOURS ago to find a tree and he isn't even back yet! What am I going to do?"

Just then, the Little Angel opened the front door and stepped in from the snowy night, dragging a Christmas tree. He says, "Yo, fat man! Where do you want me to stick the tree this year?"

And thus the tradition of angels atop the Christmas trees came to pass........

Here is our Christmas tree. when our Son went off to Afghanistan to fight, the wife said that our Christmas tree will stay up and lighted until he came home. We had the occasional friend call us and ask why our Christmas tree was lighted up in the middle of July, we explained why and the friend thought that it was nice that we were doing that.
