yeah, as in how much will customers put up with, specially on the steady stream of shoddily built veedubs from south of the border. put more of the stuff that the gen x,y,z crowds like. they don't care that knobs and handles fall off in your hand in less than a year...

Hey, i love my W126 300 SDL. I enjoy my 190E. And I learned a whole lot by working on my W123. I think the W123 was and is one of the best vehicles MB EVER created.. Second, of course, to the W126.
If I had to go back to another W123, I would not be ashamed or even lose sleep over it. They're pretty reliable and inexpensive to repair. I still see them going strong on the road and still look EXCELLENT !!!!! One of histories masterpieces on wheels. They should put one in a museum along with a W126...
