Tintin
Anybody going to see the Tintin movie? I grew up reading those books so I'll be checking it out soon. But then to quote one John Cleese in "Silverado". "I am not from these parts". So I'm wondering if anyone else on this forum knows anything about them?

I used to have all the Tintin books and must have read them hundreds of times ; huge part of my childhood. Looking forward seeing this movie, even that I'm not a huge fan of animation.

Looks like fun to watch. I keep confusing it with Rin Tin Tin ... I think I remember them comics. I like to watch it.

I didn't read the books and went in not knowing anything about it (took my nieces).
We all really enjoyed it. The animation was amazing, sometimes it was possible not to realize it was animated. I can't say how accurately it portrayed the book, but it was an enjoyable film. Sometimes fanciful, sometimes farcical, sometimes over the top, but always fun. |
