Net Flix

Thinking about subscribing to Net Flix through my TV or Blueray player and thought you fine folks would have some experience with them. I want the good, bad, and ugly. Thanks all!

We use it and love it. You can't always get the movies you want, as some of them are DVD only, but the ability to watch old episodes of your favorite television shows is pretty cool.

I was browsing their library or at least what they will let you see without being a subscriber and was a little concerned about the number of movies available. Thanks for the feedback.

I am continually annoyed at what is "DVD only". IMO when you want a movie on demand, you want it instantly, not through the mail.

You can get just about any made for television movie. The blockbusters and others that did decent at the cinemas are rotated almost weekly. If you could get the movie this week doesn't mean it's available next.

All in all, it's a decent price. My kids, who are into '80's movies, seem to like it.

I love it, use it all the time. Their DVD turn around at least in my area is 1 day.

Endless entertainment. It may not have what you're looking for, but I can always find something to watch after browsing for a few minutes. I just wish instead of the by mail system they had an instant pay per view type thing. I would give 50 cents per 1 week rental for the convenience of having it instantly.

Every episode of Star Trek from TNG on is on there.

They practically DOUBLED their prices last year

And shed customers by the millions because of it.

Now commonly known in California as Greedflix.

I'm more than happy to pay for quality content, the convenience and selection doesn't trump the price yet. There's also streaming from Amazon, if your equipment has the software or if you've got home theater computer.
