The mighty 190
|
I like.
|
I should play this video in front of my 190E, which doesn't want to start. Maybe that will wake it up :D
|
To me the W201 is greatly underrated. I miss the 1984 2.4 5 speed that I had. So much fun can comfortable to drive.
|
The blonde I dated when I had my smoke silver '91 190E wasn't quite that hot, but BF was tall lanky blue eyed & naturally blonde. ;)
But I get a lot more looks driving the 300ce than I ever got in the 190e.:P I'll bet you the 190 would really go with a 3.0 M103. The 2.6 was ok, but lagged with the a/c on imo. The 2.3 musta been a donkey. I wonder if the 190's tranny would hold up with a 3.0 motor? |
We once had a 2.3 automatic in our family. Acceleration was leisurely, but it was still a fun car to drive.
|
Alrighty..... alrighty... it's the mighty 190 biaocht. :D
|
I think these must be the same two 190 drivers that passed me on the way back from the airport last night :D

to those 2 white dopes on punk:

I saw this posted on Facebook. Pretty funny I found it to be. Car looks great too!

I want an EVO, OMFG it would be so much fun! 190 Evo Rally Sound 3 - YouTube Paul you got the wrong 4 cylinder. The motor to get is the Cosworth 2.5L 16 valve 4 cylinder. |
be sure to get a bunch of gold chains to go with it--blare a lot of ooga mooga booga wooga music.
And be sure to wear your cap in the 10 o clock position and point your pistol horizontally. |

I routinely use a souped up 190E EVO 2 in Gran Turismo; probably the closest I'll ever get to owning one  |
Lol that was hilarious... Just hope they were not actually smoking inside of it... I have seen even more hilarious uses of old Benz in Hip Hop music videos, one of which these guys in Germany made a fan music video with their dark green W114/115 and had people walking behind it pushing down on the back end to make it look like it had hydraulics... I wish I could find the video as it was hilarious

The rally version which the Evo's were based off of used a pumped Cosworth 4 cylinder that revved to the sky. I forget the exact numbers but MB had to make so many to satisfy the racing rules. So they had the 190E with the Cosworth 2.5 16 valve which you can get in this country, had SLS on all 4 corners too, really cool car. Than they had the Evo 1, 2, and 3 which is a monster and I'm pretty sure getting one in this country would be $$$$$$. Mercedes Enthusiast did a really good feature on them a few years back. Mercedes Benz 190E EX DTM (judd v8) INCREDIBLE - YouTube Those Judd V8 powered cars were cool, I think the redline was over 10,000 rpm. It also looks about low enough for Justin's tastes with a nice expensive spoiler that will get ripped off by the most sedate speed bump.:D |
