My father's favorite t-shirt, and morning uniform (nearly every Saturday morning during the summer) , "Beer. It's not just for breakfast anymore."

It's officially Beer Week in Arizona, which comes on the heels of last week's state centennial. All our craft breweries are putting on their best and Phoenix has several festivals going on. If there weren't so many people down there I'd go to one of them. I'll just make do with the case of Four Peaks Brewing's Kiltlifter Ale I just brought home.
Back in Anthropology grad school, the bread theory was still very much in vogue. I never bought it for a second.

You know, the new Schlitz that comes in longnecks, tastes like it did 30 years ago. They supposedly went back to their old recipe. For cheap, fizzy yellow beer, which is for weenies, it isn't half bad.
