Compaq monitor question...
Compaq Presario CQ56
My wife hasn't been gentle with her laptop computer, and after repeated drops from the arm of the sofa to the floor, has managed to crack the screen. Is it feasible to replace the monitor on the cheap, or just plug it into another monitor, since the rest of the system still works?

LCDs aren't that bad to replace if you're good with a jewler's screwdriver. You can find the panels easily on eBay. -J
