Any recommendations on what to do/see?

I am going down there with a group of about 6 friends.

Oh - I also just lined my rental car up.

Stop by the pawn shop where they film Pawn Stars. Say hi to Chum Lee for me.

Was there a few weeks ago for a trade show.

Just stay in your hotel room.

(Pawn Stars might be interesting though)

If you have never been to Hoover Dam, the tour is pretty neat.

I wasn't aware of that, maybe someone else knows here.

Do not miss this:

Fremont Street Experience

If you're into nature, this place is neat (and it is free), it is an artificial wetland created in the middle of the freaking desert out of treated water:

Wetlands Park

Just don't play with any spiders, the funnel spiders and brown recluse can kill you.

Weekends are generally jam packed and prices get jacked up. Mob Museum just opened, so that's likely to be busy; tour the properties if you haven't been, like the Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn, CP and after awhile they all look the same, especially all the shops selling the same designer goods. Whatever you want to eat or drink, you'll find it there. Best of luck trying to get into a club or lounge on the weekends, but there's no shortage of women dressed to impress Fridays and Saturday nights.

Now what I found was the most offensive part of Wynn was the simple, smallest detail that threw me for a loop and left a bad taste on my expensive palate. If you would like to see the Ferrari collection, one has to pay $12 to do so. What the hell? Does Wynn really need every cent it can get it's hands on? The one caveat is that if you are a current Ferrari owner, then you get in free... HOWEVER, you must show proof, ie. through showing a key to your Ferrari. I am on holiday! Why in the hell would I carry a key to a car I am not driving? This is an absolutely ridiculous and utterly stupid request to make of people visiting Las Vegas.

Hmm, wonder if a copy of the registration will work....

Sherri's Ranch and The Chicken Ranch come to mind. You can see what you want and take a tour even if you decide not to buy. Some of their links have X-rated pics so I can't post them here. Google is your friend. We took a tour there and the Madam asked my wife if she would like to work there since some of her clients have an Asian Woman Fetish.

Go to that place in the desert that allows you to fly a helicopter and shoot an M60 out of the door.
