Cool Wow this is nice

Maybe NOT

That's Not A Mercedes Dude

Why oh why do people do this?

There was a guy in town back in the days of the Hyundai Stellar (not sure if you got that massive POS in the States or not) who stuck an Audi 5000 grille onto one.

He used to show up at the Audi dealers to actually test-drive real ones. Parking his Haudi up front for the world to see.

Back in the 80's in Jax Fla. people use to steal the Large Mercedes emblems off of Mercedes shipping trucks and put them on Toyotas.

Someone forgot to kick that Chrysler 5-Point off the grill. Otherwise, the "boxy look" would give it away as being anything related to a Tri-Star.

The only person I ever flipped off on the road was given said gesture because he had stuck a star and a badge on the back of a falling apart Suzuki.

Anyone here old enough to remember the Ford Granada commercials in the 70's that used to compare it's stunning likeness against the W126?

There is a guy here in Fairbanks who has a 2006ish Ford Crown Victoria that has gold colored MB rims, gold colored MB grill, and gold colored S 55 AMG emblems on the back. I was so ticked, but decided to leave the vehicle alone considering it was a busy parkinglot with lots of people watching.

Perfectly acceptable.

So long as you provide ample photographic documentation of the process.

~ says jim as he ponders the current driveway herd, which happens to include both a Ranger and an OM617 powered 300SD ~
