So?? You want your money back?

We had an awful experience yesterday at a fast food place. We went through the drive-thru and ordered chicken. We had been short-changed a few pieces of chicken on a number of occassions(but they have the best fried chicken in this area so we kept going back) but never noticed it until we were miles from the restaurant.
This time before leaving the parking lot, we counted the pieces of chicken. We were 2 pieces short, so my coach got out of the car, went into the restaurant and told the girl behind the counter what had happened. THe girl put her hands on her hips, rolled her eyes and cocked her head, "so, you want your money back?" she said. Our coach put the chicken on the counter, took the money and we left.
Has this kind of thing ever happened to you? It seems those fast restaurants always forget something, they forget the fries, one of the burgers, the milkshake or whateever, but they always charge you, they never accidentally give you something you never payed for. Do the fast food workers do this on purpose?

By the way, I went to a dietician and it seems the reason I gained 30 pounds since I started college is alcohol. Even though I only have it on weekends she said the calories add up. Thanks for you help anyways

There is a KFC in North Richland Hills, Texas that is undoubtedly the WORST fast food joint in the country!

No one answers the "call-ahead" phone (except for the fax), so you go there and of course, nothing is ready! So you have to wait another 15+ minutes for them to cook the chicken.

Eventually, other clerks forget you are there and go ahead and hand out parts of your order to others at the drive-thru, so now, when your food is supposed to be ready, they gave most of it away...so they have to cook your food all over again!

The manager blames his problems on employee turnover and low attendance, but none of the other stores seem to have that problem and they get their help from the same pool!

I've gone two of three times because I couldn't believe that it was that bad, and that the first time was a fluke...but each visit topped the previous!!!

Fortunately, another KFC popped up in Southlake...about as far to get to that one, but at least they don't have the same issues...

This sounds like dealing with MB dealers and MBNA.

We had been short-changed a few pieces of parts and services on a number of occassions (but they have the best cars in this area so we kept going back).

The KFC's in this area are all going under. At McDonalds the service is crappy. They have hired a number of "challenged" young people. I think it is good to give these people a job however they are left without much supervision. This results in a lot of mistakes and customers getting upset. It is not fair to these young people. I suspect the franchise owner is getting a financial or tax incentive to hire people with maladies. I have written the corporate office and complained about this practice. There is nothing lower than a greedy bastard using the disabled to squeeze out a little more profit. The other day I got a double cheesburger with no meat. In the old day's the restaraunt owner would not only replace the burger but also give you your money back as an appology.

He said " SO,,,,,, What are you going to do about it!!?? later that evening his tires were flat,,,, all four of them.. OOPS!
End of story.
