Happens to me all the time when I copy and paste ebay link from another site (such as car blog). I go back to the actual ebay link and paste, then it'll work.

I used the link to go to the car without me being signed in, but I see it does not work in a post. Can we go back to punch cards?

Listed as an 8cyl on Ebay. Don't they get that info from the VIN?

I'm guessing not. I have seen many with M103 and M104 listed as 8 cylinders.

Just to let you know what I did: I found the listing, opened it, then highlighted the URL in the browser window, left clicked, selected copy, then pasted it into the message window on this site. After that, I placed [ URL ] just before the beginning of the URL and placed [ /URL ] at the end of the URL. Note that I have some spaces within the brackets to insure that these commands would show up in this message as text. You would get rid of that spacing when actually using them.

Did the 1995 R129's have the ambitiously biodegradable engine wiring harnesses?

I did win the car. Now making arrangements to go get. At this rate if I keep buying M-B's I will never own a Packard. Already I need to put a large door at my basement walk in so that I can move 2 cars to my cavernous basement.

I feel sort of odd because I started driving Mercedes because of their diesels. I never thought that I would ever purchase a gasser and now this it the 3rd one.....the last 3 have have all been gassers...

Order of purchases:
1985 300D
1999 E300
1981 300D
1985 300D (Cali)
1984 190 2.3
1991 300SE
1995 DL320
