Happy Easter to all except ...

the PA state patrol. Thanks for the vote of confidence that a 240D can do 84 up a slight incline. However, this isn't enough to keep me from saying that if I saw one of your cars on fire on the side of the road with the occupant screaming like a stuck pig (get it?), I would only hope for the ability to p!ss kerosene.

Granted. Yet according to one of your previous posts you voiced a desire to see fossil fuels climb thru the roof.

How does this square with such wanton waste?

Hmmmm so you are saying you got a ticket for doing 84 uphill in a 240d?

Seems like you should be bragging about it!

Might as well burn as much as possible. More demand = higher prices = other technologies becoming viable more quickly.

(Though personally I'm for the European model -- 130 to 140 km/h motorway speed limits, as designed for, and higher fuel taxes which pay for good and reliable electric train service. I would have much rather have taken the train if service were reliable and frequent.)

Then you would receive a citation for breaking the laws of physics...
