Looks to be an extensive restoration effort...except for the ratty driver's seat upholstery...strange?

Yeah, I noticed that. :D I wonder if it's a legit CA vanity plate or if it's one of those make-your-own ones?

That one has been restored well. The unrestored ones over here normally end up as a farm ute for the kids to drive from the house to the gate to catch the school bus. i know where there is one sitting in a dry dam.
Cant understand why they restored a 302, guys over here wouldnt bother unless it was a 351.
The XW & XY ones just before that body shape were a better proposition. I know of one that has been converted to 4WD.
