This happens to me if I have not refomatted the memory card in a while. I have a 16GB SD card and two 8GB CF cards so that's bound to happen, but I do try to keep a mental note.

That is possible. Have you had problems with a different memory card?

Do you use a card-reader?

hmm. I have a Rebel T3. I see this every now and again when I upload pictures to imgur. Just out of curiosity try using a different photo viewer, like the built in windows one.. see what that produces.

I've used both Picasa and Windows Photo and fax viewer. I've tried uploading the file to Photobucket but it wont even process the file saying there is in Error... thats why I had to use my screen snipping tool to get that far... all the other pictures come out fine. It's just like 1 in 50 pictures craps up...

Not sure, I'll ask the Mrs. She's the photographer in the family.

OK, I've got to know. What was the reason behind the pic?

Looks like he's growing strawberries...

...and there's a tomato at the back I think...

Perhaps there's a power related problem? Batteries playing up?

Agreed on the strawberries and tomatoes. All look to be Walmart pots, wondering if it was at the store or at home? Is the answer in the grey block? A picture is worth a thousand words, about 500 aren't legible.

Probably the memory card, I've had similar issues in the past.

If the pic shows complete in the focusing screen, it's the card not the camera I bet.

and @ Swampyankee too

You've caught me. that is a very small portion of this years container garden, there is 17 buckets in all. Several varietys of tomatoes, I have peppers, strawberries etc all growing. I never thought there'd be an interest in them so I never posted pictures here of them

I'll post a couple here... If there is more interest I'll post the rest.

this was a tomato I got off the vine yesterday

This was the containers when it all started... Well started with three.... but then it grew into 17. with 3 spare buckets and 2 rows of sweet corn

and this is the container setup now.

and one more for Grins and Giggles

Nice! Most folks figure I have a huge garden since I can get all the seed I want, I just have too much shade in my yard (one of these years there will be some clearing and limbing!). I've got some containers scattered throughout the few sunny spots that the kids don't utilize.

Have you grown corn in containers before? If not, since its wind pollinated putting them in blocks (and close together) rather than a row will ensure good pollination. How many do you have per container? Very curious how it works out.

Corn is not in containers actually. Its planted in a dirt strip in front of the driveway. since it's limited, I can de-tassle and pollinate the plants myself ensuring that it happens with so few plants. Next year I'm going to start with all seeds in these buckets. It's an on going project over the last couple years... Writing a book maybe on it. the pictures are an aid to that and it's nice to keep track month by month how the plants are doing. all the pictures are on my facebook acct right now.

I'd love to get seeds from the 'source' as it were, but there is no place here like the place you work at that I'm aware of, and I'm sure if there was. they wouldnt sell to the public.
