Fuses, Relay, Trailer Light connection for the wiring goes to a T-splitter. I'd try there first

Multi Function Switch

The MFS has a tendency to heat up at the connection under the wheel cover. Pull the cowling under the steering wheel and look for a white multi wire plug that is now mostly Brown from heat/scorch.

You can do an easy fix by buying a box of Spade connectors from Auto parts store or Radio Shack and cut off the plug end on either side and crimping/soldering on the spade male/females and plugging together. There is usually enuff loose wire to do this.

Same desighn was used on Ranger and is a known issue.

If it is still under warranty there is a FoMoCo TSB on this.

One more thing, the brake light came on. Could that be caused this problem?

sounds like it. brake light on would seem like that is the case. I'd check the fuses etc first though. a little bit easer

The brake lights do work, it's just the turn signals.

Emergency flashers work, but the turn signals still don't.
