We know you do not like much of anything. Some people do like face book. I actually found a relative thanks to Facebook who no one in my family knew about . If you do not like it, ignore it. Why you constantly need to deride others with insults and foul language is beyond me.

I actually use it and find it useful. That has nothing to do with my opinion of the stock's price. And I really don't GAFF what you think of me.

Then don't buy it if you think it is over priced. It still does not change the fact that your posts are riddled with insults and foul language.

I was not aware that I gave any indication that I thought you did care. If I did I do apologize for that misunderstanding.

Insults, to be sure. "Feces" is proper, not vulgar, unlike say s**t...

So ... are you buying or not tomorrow?

Given your pasts posts I believe the intent was the same.

No, I do not have any disposable income at the moment and have never been good at gambling which is how I view the stock market with my current level of understanding with stocks.

Has anyone bought something from an ad on Facebook?

Has anyone bought something from an ad on Facebook?

The purchases I have made from online ads have been site and content specific. IE... fishing gear from fishing site, parts from this site etc...

FF does a good job at blocking most of the stuff. I do not see any ads on this page (do not know if there should be or not) and I never even noticed any ads on FB.

When I read stuff on line I very rarely notice the ads. I'm focused on why I am looking for/reading and disregard the rest.

I just logged on the FB to check it out and went to a few pages. I did not see a single ad. Am I missing them or is FF blocking them?

Firefox and Adblock removed all of the ads for me when I was a member.

Seems like this IPO deal is a cash out. Right after it happens GM pulls its advertizing and a story of how ad click return is around 0.5 percent. I wonder if it becomes to big to fail.

Why on earth would ANYONE buy stock in a company that doesn't produce a tangible product?? Didn't we, as a populace, learn anything in the dotcom era??

If you want to actually make money on the stock market, you'll buy shares of companies that make or sell items that mankind cannot do without, like food or manufacturing.

I lost big money in the dotcom burst, and wont fall into that trap again. My portfolio dropped by nearly 60% back then, and never recovered. Pets.com nearly killed me.

Also, with as many changes that FB has made that takes it right to the cusp of Myspace, and knowing where Myspace sits today, nothing could cause me to invest in FB.
