Cops & Evidence back Zimmrman's story

"Two police reports written the night that George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin said that Zimmerman had a bloody face and nose, according to police reports made public today.

The reports also note that two witness accounts appear to back up Zimmerman's version of what happened when they describe a man on his back with another person wearing a hoodie straddling him and throwing punches."

Never let anything like the facts get in the way of a good story.

Hopped up street thug attacks guy, guy defends himself.

I do not see this as changing anything. Yes Zimmerman had wounds. Were they defensive or offensive? Who approached who that lead up to the altercation? Did Martin feel his life was threatened that he had to fight to save his life? Did Martin circle around and surprise Zimmerman?

The only person who would give Martins side of the story is dead. The SYG law screwed up the investigation from day one. Zimmerman is screwed because of the incompetent law makers in FL

You left out the part where the hopped up street thug is wondering, "Why in the hell is this guy stalking me?" I don't know whether Zimmerman is guilty of a crime, but I am ready to convict him of being a first-class weirdo. He's a menace.

What would you do if a 250 pound man is stalking you?

Dudesky 05-18-2012 10:50 AM

He'll walk.

How does one make the determination that another person is a menace? Is being a menace a permanent state?

I'd wonder if he was indeed stalking me and whatever his purpose, I doubt I would confront him. If I felt threatened likely I'd go to a store and call a cop or use my cellphone and call a cop. What about you?

And if the first words out of the man's mouth were something like "what are you doing here, nig--r?" combined with brandishing a weapon or a suspicious bulge, I might feel obligated to try to do unto him before he does to me.

You must work for NBC news.

I still want to see a timeline of events constructed from 911 call and eye-witnesses, all superimposed over a map of both men's travels.

No, I just see both sides of the story, and can understand why Martin may have "attacked" Zimmerman first. If you provoke a fight leading to someone's death, that's not self-defense. That's a felony.

That's the first I've heard of that evidence. Is there more of it?

What's the other side?

No evidence, and I doubt that we'll know anything until trial (and maybe not even then). I'm just saying that this could have gone down in many different ways.
