Why should anti-war demands focus first and foremost on the war's impact on Americans and their lives-and not on the victems of U.S. aggression:
Pakistani's murdered in drone strikes
Iraqi's rounded up and tortured by U.S. forces
Afghan's seized and terrorized in night raids, and countless others?
Arent their lives every bit as prescious as the lives of those who happen to live in the U.S.?

...is a slogan generated by several social movements and is wrong and harmfull-in terms of morality that is actually in the interests of humanity, and in terms of understanding imperialism and war.

The slogan also pushes an idea that the 'Powers that be'-if pressured by enough people- could scale back their military, stop attacking other countrys, and instead use the money for jobs and education etc.

But this is not how the system works............

Extrinsic evidence such as their OWN callous disregard for the lives of their OWN men women and children, as evidenced by car bombings, daily suicide bombers blowing up inncent civiians, etc. seems to suggest that they THEMSELVES, have little, to utterly NO regard for their OWN peoples' lives.


SO - gtiven THAT point of view, why should WE put the value of THEM above OUR own people's lives?

I am NOT saying they are ALL radical, militant, hateful fanatics, but it sure looks to me like they successfully have hijacked the ENTIRE muslim religion to serve their goals. Which at first blush seem to be nothing more than hate violence and and lots of sociopathic bloodshed for its own sake.

Differance is...you are on their soil. If they want to kill each other let them. Last time I looked, there is not a military prescence from another country located in the U.S. killing the Americans who are killing each other there. Or in Mexico killing the drug cartel members for that matter.

Imagine if this happened in reverse. If Pakistan, or another country, accidentally killed 10 people in a church. Imagine the anger, the hatred, the desire for revenge that it would produce. How would you react if a member of your family was in that church?
It needs to be acknowledged that things such as this do not endear the U.S. to people there.
If I were a terrorist group, I would be approaching those family's to join my operation before the dust settled.
